How can i advertise on Hometraveler?

Just go to the Register page and register in order to receive your login details instantly by email. Login at Hometraveler and you are ready to set-up your personal account, upload your photo`s, fill in price periods, availaibility, facilities and more information about your (holiday)home.

How much does it cost to advertise for our Rent services?

Registering your home for Rent is free, also there are no administration costs. Only when a accommodation rented we will charge a commission of 10% of the rent price.

How much does it cost to advertise for our Exchange services?

The costs of our exchange service will be based on a membership fee of €49,- per year. During this year there is no limitation of the amount of home exchanges you do.

How much do I have to pay for the exchange membership?

After you have registered, you will receive an exchange membership invoice by email. After you we have received your payment we will activate your account.

How will I know when my memberhip expires?

Two weeks before your membership expires we will send you an email.

Is there an exchange contract available?

Yes there is an online exchange contract available here. A party can fill in the form at this page, sign it, and send it to the other party and vice versa.

Are there any extra costs besides the exchange membership fee?

No you only have to pay the costs of membership fee.

How will I receive booking enquiries?

When a visitor has booked your accommodation, you will receive an email instantly which have to reply in order to confirm/decline the booking. If Hometraveler does not receive a confirmation within 24 hours the booking will be canceled

How does Hometraveler promote my (holiday)home?

Hometraveler uses several (internet)marketing/advertising strategies to maximize the listings exposure.


Registration

Is it possible to register for both Rent and Exchange?

Of course, if would like to register your accommodation for Rental/Exchange just go back to the Register page and register again, make sure you have selected the kind of service you would like to register for.

I did not receive an login and password?

After you have registered and you have clicked on the “Register” button, you should go to another page where see the text “Thank you for your registration….etc.” If you do not see this page there probably went something wrong during the registration. Make sure you have filled in all the necessary form fields and you have chosen the kind of service you would like to register for, finally fill in the five digit security code, agree with the terms and then click again on “Register”.

Is it possible to use one account for multiple accommodations?

No unfortunately it`s not yet possible to manage multiple accommodations by using one account. If you would like to add another accommodation you have to register again in order to create a new account.

I cannot login to my account what should I do?

Make sure you have typed the login information, which was send to you by email after the registration, correctly. The password is case sensitive therefore it`s important to enter it exactly as in is written in the email, for example password: GhyUd4J is ok not  ghyud4j.

I`ve problems uploading photo`s, how can this be solved?

You can upload photos up to 2Mb(2000Kb) per photo, please verify if your photos are not more than 2mb each. Most of the photos should have a *.jpg extension, please verify if this is the case, if not try to save your photo as a jpg file. Sometimes it could take some time to upload a photo, this depends on what type of internet connection you have, the only thing you can do to increase the speed is to reduce the size of your photo as small as possible.

Why do I have to fill in my personal information, will this be shown on the website?

We are very careful with your personal information, this information will not be published on our website and will only be used by Hometraveler B.V for administrational purposes such as sending invoices, bookings details etc.

What should i write in the home description?

It is important to write a short description of only the most important characteristics of your These things such as in example, panoramic view over mountains, situated old city center, special facilities such as fireplace and balcony will trigger potential renters.

Why is my listing not shown on the website?

Please make sure you selected “this accommodation is online” in your account menu under my accommodation and press the save changes button. If you have a Rental account don`t forget to fill in the price periods, for a more detaild explanation how to fill in these price periods click here

How do I change my password?

When you login, using your login details that were send by Hometraveler to your email address, you go to “my profile” and click on change my password.
